Printmaking

Printmaking is an artistic process that involves transferring images from a prepared surface, such as wood, metal or gel, onto another surface like paper or fabric. This technique allows for the creation of multiple copies of an artwork, each known as a print, through methods such as engraving, etching, lithography, or screen printing. Monoprinting is a form of printmaking that produces a single, unique print from a design drawn or painted on a smooth surface, making each monoprint one-of-a-kind.
