Painting

Painting is the practice of applying paint to a surface such as canvas, paper, wood, or walls. Artists typically use brushes to apply the paint, but other tools like palette knives, sponges, airbrushes, or even fingers can also be used to create various effects and textures. The term painting refers to both the process of creating the artwork and the final piece itself.
